These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clarity, a macOS application developed by CMDLAB ("we", "our", or "us"). By using Clarity, you agree to these Terms.
Clarity is a personal productivity tool that helps you manage tasks and summarize emails. You may use it for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Clarity integrates with third-party services including Gmail, Outlook, Anthropic, and OpenAI. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those services.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and OAuth credentials. We store them securely in your macOS Keychain and do not transmit them to our servers. You are responsible for any charges incurred from your use of third-party AI APIs.
Clarity is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated summaries will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CMDLAB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Clarity, including but not limited to data loss or reliance on AI-generated content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of Clarity after changes constitutes acceptance.
